Yorkshire based, Bailey Pet Products Ltd, a young, innovative and dynamic company, has launched their signature product ‘The Dog’s Bag’*. www.littlereddogshop.co.uk is the brainchild of Nicky I’Anson-Kemp (42), a graphic designer for 22 years with a passion for dogs and a vision for making a difference for pets and their owners!
Nicky explains how the business began: “I used to have a caravan by the sea, my dog, Bailey was never out of the water and sand, it was really hard to dry him off and stop the mess in my car and caravan. My mum designed the first sample of the dog bag** – it was easy to use and really worked, there were no more muddy paw marks on the furniture. It was mum who encouraged me to make a go of the business – I have a lot to thank her for!”
Nicky continues: “The Dog bag is a popular choice during the winter months, although Bailey uses his bag all year round, all us dog owners will be experiencing months of muddy paws! It’s the perfect gift for any smart dog or immaculate dog owner!"
Nicky explains: “When I decided to go forward with the dog’s bag idea i contacted the DTi (department of trade and industry) for advice. They were so impressed with the idea they put us in touch with West Yorkshire Ventures. We were then introduced to agents who sourced toweling manufacturers around the world. Although we are based in Yorkshire,the majority of our clients order online at www.littlereddogshop.co.uk, we supply across the UK
The pet industry market is growing rapidly, owners are spending more money pet accessories. Bailey Pet Products are constantly thinking of innovative ideas to make dogs and their owners happier. The soul aim is to make a difference to dogs and dog owners lives.
Nicky concludes: “My inspiration has to be Bailey - I like buying for him so I design things I would want to buy."
